You don’ have to worry about cholesterol build up in your system since you can lose them by losing body fat which would eventually happen if you do your weight training exercises properly and religiously.
May it be walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts, nuts in general are rich in protein which helps our bodies in building and repairing damaged muscles. Nuts also contain Vitamin E, and anti-oxidants that are very essential in helping your muscles prevent damage after a tedious workout.
Yogurts contain good bacteria which helps our bodies in digestion. They help out in improving your gastrointestinal health and prevent certain diseases such as colon cancer. In choosing yogurt, it is important to ignore those with fruit flavorings and sugar. Instead, when you eat yogurt, take it with real fruit such as berries.
Salmon- one of the most protein – rich food. They are rich in Omega-3, which is good for your heart and offers 20 grams of protein in every 100 grams of wild salmon. Go with wild salmon instead of those artificially bred.
5. Beef/ Red Meat
Beef are pretty known to be rich in protein, thus helping you out in building your muscles. Beef also contain zinc, creatine, and vitamin B12.
Other than for hydration purposes, water is essential in building muscles. Protein synthesis occurs in areas that are well hydrated. If you are well hydrated, the more protein is used up to build muscles. It also helps you in increasing your metabolism and washes away toxins.
Coffee hypes you up. The longer you exercise, the more you build your body and lose weight. Studies show that exercise lasts 10% longer if you drink coffee 2-3 hours before you start your routine.

It’s well documented that fruits and veg have variety of vitamins and minerals contained in them. They also have anti-oxidants as well which have a variety of health benefits. Bananas are great before and after your work-out for energy. Fruits like oranges, blackcurrants are great for boosting your Vitamin C.
